Environmental monitoring generates a lot of alerts. By the time a site or environmental manager opens the morning’s log, they’re looking at a list of timestamps and numbers with no immediate context for what actually happened on site.
Pro Link now runs AI alert analysis on each event automatically. When an alert fires and the station’s Event Vision camera captures the moment, the platform reviews the footage and attaches a plain-English summary to the alert — what was visible, the most likely cause, and a confidence level — before anyone opens the record.
The benefit is time
A reviewer scanning forty alerts can immediately prioritise the ones that warrant attention. Each alert carries a plausibility badge — Likely, Plausible, or Unlikely — so a log can be triaged at a glance rather than clip by clip. Clear, high-confidence events can be acknowledged quickly; the low-confidence or nothing-identified alerts are the ones that get a closer look.
The analysis also draws on context beyond the single clip. Pro Link feeds the surrounding picture into each assessment, including activity at neighbouring stations on the same project and recent patterns in the alert history. That allows the analysis to note when an event lines up with correlated activity nearby, or when it sits outside the normal pattern for that site.

What it does and doesn’t do
The AI is not making a compliance determination. It does not decide whether a limit has been breached, or what action should be taken. It does what a person reviewing footage would do first: look at the clip and describe what they see, framed as an observation with a stated confidence level. A reviewer might see something like “Excavator operating approximately 20–30 metres from sensor. Consistent with vibration trigger. High confidence,” or “No obvious construction activity visible. Possible wind or traffic. Low confidence.”
It accelerates human review. It doesn’t replace it. The professional judgement on the data stays with the people who manage the project.

Availability
AI analysis is available now on any station running Pro Link with an Event Vision camera. There are no hardware changes for camera-equipped stations. This new service comes as an added bonus to all our customers, at no extra cost.
